Sean Redmond, Ed.D.
With a decade of invaluable experience as a secondary-level teacher in a Title I school, I embarked on a journey to obtain an administrative credential. This path led me to serve as an assistant principal at the elementary level for three fulfilling years within the same district. I continued my professional growth when I gratefully accepted the esteemed position of principal at a Title I school in a different school district. Throughout my years in leadership, I have often found myself in volatile, uncertain, complex, and ambiguous environments that required strategic planning to bring about lasting transformational change.
My professional journey has been driven by a deep passion for nurturing new and aspiring educators, guiding them towards a pathway to success in their careers. I firmly believe that by empowering educators and providing them with the necessary tools, support, and guidance, we can shape a brighter future for generations to come.
At Redmond Consulting, my mission is to help educators and leaders discover their unique strengths, unlock their full potential, and foster a sense of purpose in their educational endeavors and leadership roles. With nearly a decade of valuable classroom experience in Title I schools, followed by four years as an assistant principal, three years as a principal, and one year as a Title I Coordinator, I have cultivated a diverse range of expertise within the education field. Currently, I hold the esteemed position of Director of School and Department Recruitment for one of the largest school districts in the Nation.
Throughout my professional journey, my unwavering passion has been centered around discovering and nurturing exceptional talent that can create a lasting and positive impact on the lives of our children, communities, and society as a whole.
At Redmond Consulting, I am dedicated to leveraging my experience and expertise to identify and develop individuals who possess the potential to be transformative educators. I firmly believe that by strategically selecting and cultivating top-tier talent, we can revolutionize the educational landscape and empower our future generations.
As the Director of School and Department Recruitment, my role encompasses identifying promising candidates, designing comprehensive recruitment strategies, developing over 700 student teachers a year, and implementing effective development programs. I am committed to ensuring that our schools and departments attract individuals who not only possess exceptional skills and knowledge but also demonstrate a deep commitment to nurturing the potential within every student.
